What is acupuncture all about?
Im getting it done in a couple days and im kinda nervous because i dont know what there gonna do for so long is it just like putting pressure on certain areas of yorr body anyone who has had this done before can they tell me what its like? Thanks

Quitting smoking with acupuncture?
My wife and I went and got the acupuncture done today to help to quit smoking, they stuck needles in our ears and then sent electricity through my ears,lol My wife hasn't smoked but I am still smoking but I've noticed i have dramatically cut down from my normal 3 packs today to about a half pack for today, Should I go back to get the follow up procedure o quit all together which is what I want, but I don't know if the second time will be a waste of money or it will help me out more.
Can acupuncture help my back?
I have been off work for almost 2 weeks now and I am wondering if acupuncture can help me. I have never tried before, the chiropactor didn't. I am also going for massages twice a week.
Acupuncture and SEVERE depression/anxiety?
So basicly i have had INTENSE symptoms for the past year and a half fatigue,HEAVY light sensitivity,migraines nausea,apathy,Halos around things and depth persception issues,tingling feet etc,Super spaced out always and i was convinced that i had something,a tumor or epilepsey or something,i went to 22 doctors,had every test imaginable from blood work to lyme disease to diabeties test,All came up nothing,Told me it was anxiety,Anxiety meds didnt work,Then they told me it was migraines,NO migraine stuff worked,even the stuff they give you IV at the doctor so they said its probably still stress and my body is just used to it so i dont feel stressed out so instead of more meds...i had my first acupuncture session yesterday,over all,very good experience now i wake up this morning, a tad better mood and a little sore where a couple of the needles were at in my toes mainly ...Im just curious has anyone else had luck with acu. alleviating anxiety depression symptoms and HEAVY migraines? they told me to come in 3 times a week for 2 weeks and that will give me the best results,how long did it take you for? what was the process emotionally? i cannot relax at all during my session,my eye were open the whole time because i overthink everything,will it still work?
Acupuncture for facial sweat?
can acupuncture cure upper lip sweat? like kill deactivate the sweat glands?or maybe direct the flow of sweat glands from my upper lips to other parts of my body.
