Question: Quitting smoking with acupuncture?

My wife and I went and got the acupuncture done today to help to quit smoking, they stuck needles in our ears and then sent electricity through my ears, lol My wife hasn't smoked but I am still smoking but I've noticed i have dramatically cut down from my normal 3 packs today to about a half pack for today, Should I go back to get the follow up procedure o quit all together which is what I want, but I don't know if the second time will be a waste of money or it will help me out more.

I think you should go for a second time. And it won't be a waste of money because you are wasting more money now on buying cigarettes. You are going to be so proud of you for quitting. And you are going to see a huge change in you and your health. I quit seven years ago. And I'm so happy that I did. Give it a second shot and you are going to be just fine. Maybe for you one treatment wasn't enough. You went down from three packs to half a pack so something is working. But now you need just a little boost to get rid of that half a pack. I will congratulate you now because I have a feeling that you are really going to quit if you go for a second treatment.

Quiting smoking, is a very psychological thing, you went to the acupuncture thinking it would help you quit, and it has cut down your smoking alot and you have noticed it... if you dont want to spend the money... keep yourself busy and when you go to have a smoke think about it and say "do i really need this smoke, im just going to want another one soon " and then just wait until your next one... well thats what i do.
