Are there people who take alternative treatments who also use the same health approach with their pets.?
That is, you might not have your pets receive vaccines or medications from vets if in your own situation you will not undergo such treatments yourself from regular doctors ?Tink In most places its the law for vaccination of pets, including solely indoor ones , really ? Is most places referring to the general area you live in, because its not " the law" here in Canada to my knowledge. Its also not " the law" yet for all people to be vaccinated against regular flu swine flu, HPV, etc, though that could change.

Keratoconus alternative treatments?
I have Keratoconus in both eyes. I've mostly worn glasses most of my life because I am a very sensitive person and sometimes my body will reject react to things ranging from soaps to bodily fluids including my own. I can't even tolerate water in my eyes. I tried to explain this to the Dr who diagnosed and began initial treatment on me, but she seemed to get angry with me for not being able to wear the RGP lenses. Anytime I had them in I was in an excruciating pain, constant eye watering and itching fit. When I'd take them out it would take hours for my eyes to stop itching. She tried me on different solutions and eye drops and nothing helped. I eventually went to another Dr at a clinic that specialized in eye diseases etc, and they confirmed the diagnosis and were concerned about my problems with the RGP. I got fitted for soft lenses, but they didn't help any because of the irregular shape but they irritated my eyes a bit less. Then I got fitted for lenses that were soft on the edges and hard in the middle. I had problems with those as well. In the end I gave up. I'm right back at glasses. I would like to know what other options are out there for me. I'm low income so things not covered by insurance aren't really an option. Also placing anything permanently into my eye would be a scarey gamble for me. My reactions to things can be immediate or they can just happen randomly.
