Question: Has anyone gotten acupuncture before?

Can u get it just to relax , or can u only get it when u have a disease or want to lose weight?

I have had it done on me for pain. It has many uses and yes, relaxation for sure.

Acupuncture is done to relieve pain in the body to help the muscles to relax and not be so stiff

I think relaxation is one of the main uses for it. I've gotten it before, even though I am totally afraid of needles. The guy just had me lay on my stomach so he could put needles in my back and I wouldn't see them, and it really wasn't that bad. And I think it helped. It wasn't exactly just for relaxation, but I was having some muscle-related low back pain.

I received it once, from the acupuncturist at the clinic I worked in, her first patient didn't turn up so she suggested I give it a go. I was very skeptic about the whole thing, but I was amazed at the result. That afternoon, I was so relaxed I had trouble doing any work, I just wanted to sleep- I slept very well for some time after that. I definitely recommend it for relaxing.

Yes my daughter did for chronic back pain and it really helped her.
