Question: Tattoo healing on my foot its very dry, advice please?

I have had my tattoo for over 2 weeks its on my foot/ leg. it has scabbed it has been moisturised etc all the time ive been trying really hard to help it heal. i thought it had healed so i have been putting on socks and trainers these past few days for work, but this morning i woke up and all the tattoo was very dry. is this normal? i read ont he internet it may not be healed yet? so do i go back tp pumps and creaming?

Vaseline is the best thing to use on new tattoos, for 6 weeks or until completely healed. Put some on before bed and wear a cotton sock as this will help it absorb better into your skin.

I had my tattoo done 4 weeks ago and its still abit dry when i dont put my cream on its normal. best cream ive used is bepanthen (nappy rash cream).
